Hi, I accept setup a new build, left the example console open, after booting to BIOS I noticed that the cpu fan is starting and stopping repeatedly. At Smart fan five I verified the values, it was switching between 0rpm and 50rpm speeds. After setting to max throttle and restart there was no difference. I am using the AMD provided stock Wraith stealth cpu libation. I verified the connections too, tried with one stick of ram, switched it, no departure. I don't have a GPU because I am planning on using the iGPU of the processor. Haven't touched anything else on the settings except in Smart fan 5. Today i am going to try with a new psu, electric current psu is a 420w one, but as far as I calculated I am not using more than 200. The components are new. All components are compatible as far as I know. The BIOS version is F1, motherboard rev 1.1. I tin provide additional information if needed. Temperatures: the cpu is idling at around 40C, chipset goes upwardly to effectually 60C, I am not putting it nether load as it might harm components. The question is what could exist the problem with the cpu fan speed in this case ? My setup: Mobo: GA-AB350M-DS3H CPU: Ryzen 3 2200g 2xRAM: CMK8GX4M2B3200C16R PSU: 420W

Then I'd buy an aftermarket one to replace information technology.

Hi, A faulty fan, or a faulty lath, I'd say. Effort connecting the CPU fan to a instance fan header and a case fan to the CPU fan header. Encounter the result.

Hi, A faulty fan, or a faulty board, I'd say. Try connecting the CPU fan to a case fan header and a case fan to the CPU fan header. See the effect.
Thank you for your quick response, adept proffer, just I already tried connecting the cpu fan to a sys fan header, same result. What could this mean ? I read all types of posts related to this, information technology tin can be anything, I have to identify the trouble. The bios update solved for some people, changing ram, clearing cmos, cpu pin aptitude, poor ability supply, faulty components. I haven't found mentioning however in other post that they successfully booted to bios and fan does the aforementioned when plugged in the sys header. Can i remove the cpu fan from the Stealth libation heatsink without voiding my warranty ? Cause i am planning on using a different system fan, then replacing the psu so if information technology's not fixing the trouble then i would also check the cpu fan removed from the heatsink.

"merely I already tried connecting the cpu fan to a sys fan header, aforementioned result" Meaning CPU fan pulsing, or the case fan?

I bought a pwm case ventillator, plugged into the sys fan header information technology was working fine, so every bit you pointed out information technology is a faulty cpu fan. I have the warranty for it. Thank you for your time.
